This Privacy Policy explains how Rowmnet UK Limited ("ROWM", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use rowm.net, the ROWM Partner Portal, or any related services (the "Site"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy and we process it in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. The data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Identity and contact data — your name and email address, and for partner accounts, your business name and business contact details
• Account data — login credentials and account preferences; if you sign up via a third-party identity provider (such as Google), the basic profile information that provider shares with us, such as your name, email, and avatar
• Transaction data — details of products you purchase, order history, and payment status (full card details are handled by our payment processors and are never stored on our systems)
• Technical data — IP address, device type and identifiers, browser type, and usage information collected via cookies and similar technologies
• Support data — the content of messages you send to our support team

2. How we collect it

Most data comes directly from you — when you create an account, place an order, contact support, or complete a survey. Technical data is collected automatically through cookies when you browse the Site. Where you sign in through a third-party identity provider, we receive limited profile data from that provider.

3. How we use your data and our legal bases

We use your personal data to:

• Improve our services — analysing how the Site is used so we can make it better (legal basis: legitimate interests)

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

• Connectivity providers — the operator supplying your eSIM service receives the technical data needed to provision and operate your connection
• Payment processors — to take payment and run fraud checks
• Service providers — cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, and customer-support platforms acting on our instructions under data-processing agreements
• Review platforms — if we invite you to leave a review after a purchase, your name and email may be shared with the review platform for that purpose
• Authorities — where disclosure is required by law, regulation, or court order

Where any of these recipients are located outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep your account and profile data for as long as your account is active; you can request deletion at any time. Records relating to purchases of telecommunications services are retained for a minimum of five years to satisfy legal, tax, and regulatory obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest and stored with established cloud infrastructure providers.

6. Marketing

We only send marketing emails if you opt in, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also withdraw consent at any time by emailing partners@rowm.net; we will action your request within five working days.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances
• Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data in certain circumstances

To exercise any of these rights, email partners@rowm.net. We will respond within one month. We will not charge a fee unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, in which case we may charge a reasonable fee or decline the request as the law permits.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, although we would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.

8. Cookies
